Splurge vs. Save Home Decor Ideas

There are so many beautiful home decor options out there! But many of them often just simply aren’t in our budgets. So, I rounded up a bunch of great designer dupes, including Serena and Lily bar stools, pillows, lighting and furniture options. I included some great Pottery Barn dupes in there as well! All of the splurge vs. save home decor ideas I’m showing today are really similar options and are from high quality stores as well. I think my favorite piece is this rattan dining chair. I’ve always loved it! I would have purchased for my navy blue dining room but they weren’t in stock at the time.

Where to Splurge and Save on Home Decor When Decorating

For me personally, I always like to splurge on basic furniture pieces that will get a lot of use, such as beds, couches, chairs, etc. and save on accessories like lighting, pillows and other decorative decor. These items tend to get switched out more often based on trends (or when children spill things on them, lol), so it’s much harder for me to justify spending lots of money for those categories. So I was super happy to find this palm leaf pillow that’s a near-exact dupe of this Serena and Lily version!
