This + That

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday last weekend – she had so much fun, even though we couldn’t have extended family or friends over. We got her this What Do You Meme? game and we all really enjoyed it! She got lots of Legos and LOL’s but she was most excited to get a sewing machine and dress form. She is really, really creative and wants nothing more than to be a fashion designer when she is older!

For the last few Friday’s, I’ve said that I hoped to get started on the kid’s bathroom wallpaper project but man, I am just struggling to get it going. My kid’s virtual school schedule changed a few weeks ago and it’s been throwing me for a loop. Between my 8 year old and the puppy, I basically need to be downstairs in the kitchen or family room most of the time and the bathroom is upstairs so it just hasn’t been able to happen yet. I can fully admit that I am a type-A, cross everything off her to do list, sort of girl so I’ve been frustrated with my lack of getting anything done.

I wanted to share this photo I came across from Koening Building that made me stop in my tracks. It’s such a beautiful kitchen and I can’t wait for them to share more!

My Friday Favorites

I’ve got so many cute things to share with you this week! It seemed like once I started looking, I couldn’t stop!

World Market has launched a new kid’s line and I thought this bear basket was adorable. They have other animals too and lots of cute organization, furniture and home decor so check it out!

Studio McGee for Target launched their outdoor furniture collection and as usual, it did not disappoint. Their version of the egg chair is so pretty! I like it even better than our egg chair (which my kids LOVE!). They always have really pretty and well made planters too. I purchased one last year and can vouch that it’s well worth the money.

My mudroom star flush mount light is back in stock – it’s such a unique and pretty statement light! I also loved this navy pillow cover from Serena & Lily and this blue geometric pillow from Target. They’re included in my updated affordable pillow roundup! I thought this navy dresser was beautiful and I loved the green shade of this bathroom vanity. This blue abstract art canvas is a great price and I loved this Studio McGee round tray and this blue votive.

These striped cheese boards are a dupe for these etu boards. They are just a fraction of the price! This More Beautiful coffee table book is a new release and I can confirm that it is indeed beautiful in person! And finally, I L-O-V-E this gold bamboo mirror! It’s such a great statement mirror!
