This and That + Friday Favorites

Ok, I have no idea how it is Friday already! I swear, this week flew by and we didn’t even do very much at all.

I’ve been trying to get our toy room organized and cleaned out a little this week while the weather wasn’t that great. I swear, the mess just multiplies! We cleaned out some of my son’s old books and some of my daughter’s old toys and dress-up clothes. {I posted a bit about kid related topics this week  – you can see what books my kids have been reading here and my mini makeover plan for their toy room with my favorite coastal artwork.}

I started and finished If I Never Met You this week. It was pretty good but I wasn’t crazy about the ending. I also downloaded City of Girls, Meet Cute, and Curious Minds to my Kindle from my library. It’s always a somewhat random assortment of what they have available. I put holds on The Honey Don’t List, In Five Years (I read a sample of this one and it intrigued me right away!), The Worst Best Man, Camino Winds, Beach Read and To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. Some of them probably won’t be ready for months but I still like to try!

I mentioned our laundry room makeover in last week’s Friday, I’m in Love post and that we were waiting for our new drill replacement batteries to arrive. They finally did so fingers crossed that we can get the hanging rod up this weekend and I can finally get some pictures taken of the space. I’m really proud of how nicely it turned out with a really small budget too! I also ordered this multi-device charging station for the laundry room – you can save 8% on that one now!
