Editor’s Note:
This post about blue and white pillows is one of my most popular! Unfortunately, since it was written in the spring of 2020, many of the options I featured are no longer available. I’ve made a new graphic and linked some new, in-stock options a bit further down! If you’re looking for pillows from the original post and Pinterest graphic, you can scroll down to the bottom of this post to shop what’s still available!
Have you ever excitedly clicked on a Pinterest or Instagram post because you saw the *perfect* product for your home, only to be disappointed to find out that it’s way out of your budget? It’s so disappointing and it happens to me all of the time. While I wish that I had a “champagne and caviar” sort of home decor budget, the reality is that it’s more tacos and margaritas. LOL!
So, today I’m sharing 5 affordable blue and white pillow combos that won’t break the bank! I’m also talking a little bit about pattern mixing and how to find just the right combo for your home.

How to Mix Pillow Patterns
As you can see in each of the affordable blue and white pillow combos above, most have a variation of a solid + stripe/pattern + accent (tassels, fringe, etc.). I also like to mix and match various sizes throughout my home. I’m not a big fan of matchy-matchy pillow sets. Instead, I use the solid/pattern/accent guide to coordinate sets of pillows that can be mixed up in any way and still look great together! My kids are famous for destroying pillows so I need the entire set to be able to accommodate a new pillow and still look like they all belong together.
Another tip for coordinating pillows is to pick one color and use different shades of it + add in neutrals. My combos all use varying shades of blue as the main color and then add white and tan as neutrals. Keeping your color palette to one or two shades + neutrals helps create a cohesive look in your home.
