During our kitchen remodel, I spent so much time (seriously, so.much.time) researching all sorts of coastal dining table options. White, weathered wood, round, rectangular, pedestal – you name it, I searched for it all! We needed an inexpensive round pedestal table for our space but I also gathered up some of my favorite rectangular tables to share with you!

This table from Crate and Barrel is the one we ended up purchasing for our kitchen. It extends and gives us just enough room, while still fitting in our small dining nook. Update: 2 years later and we still love our white dining table. We have had to take it apart once to tighten the screws and washers but other than that, it’s been well worth the money!
If space had permitted, I absolutely would have purchased this table! Instead, I’ve got my eye on it for our dining room someday. It’s from a local store here in Michigan but they ship all over. They also have the same table in a round pedestal version as well. It’s absolutely my #1 favorite table! Edited to add: Unfortunately, Art Van has gone out of business but I’ve sourced the exact same tables for you! You can find the rectangular table here and the round pedestal version here.
Do you have a favorite? I’d love to hear from you in the comments.
