Happy Friday! This week, I’m sharing some artwork from a favorite new-t0-me painter, all the books I got from the library this week and some fun coastal decor favorites!

This + That

This week, I stopped at the library and picked up a bunch of books that I had on hold. I’ve got The Roommate, Rodham, Yes No Maybe So and The Ex Talk. I finished Head Over Heels last week in just one day. It was a cute, easy read. I felt like everything wrapped up a little too easily but it was still entertaining.

I decided that my next project around here will be to begin tackling my kids bathroom! In my 2021 home improvement goals post, I talked about allllll of the things that I’d like to get done in there but I’m taking it slow and starting with removing the wallpaper and prepping and painting the walls.

This week, instead of featuring a room that I love, I’m sharing the artwork of Michelle Brunner. I met Michelle on Instagram a few months ago and immediately loved her beautiful paintings of coastal landscapes and pretty hydrangeas. She’s also about the nicest person you’ll ever meet! I also *loved* this coastal faux bamboo etarge from Target when I saw a shop displaying their items on it. I would love to find a spot in my house for this pretty shelf!

This blue pillow and this pink pillow both have a nice spring-y (is that a word, lol?) feel to them. I don’t know about you but I am so ready for warmer weather! This jute rug from Studio McGee for Target is still available too! Some of my favorite coastal decor items I loved this week were this raffia mirror, this blue dining chair and this rattan pendant light! I own these spiky cactus pots from Megan Molten and they are so cute! I have them sitting on my windowsill (and my son is trying to regrow a tiny grass plant in the little one). 🙂
