Upholstered King Bed Frame Details

We’ve had our upholstered grey king bed frame for a little over 2 years now so I wanted to talk a bit about what I really think. When I refreshed our room into the modern coastal space it is now, we were taking it from dark brown (“poop brown” as my kids affectionately called it. LOL!) to this light and airy space. Our old bed was a wood queen size sleigh bed and since we needed a new mattress, we knew we wanted to upgrade to an upholstered king size bed frame. I purchased this bed, sight unseen, from Macy’s and boy, am I ever glad that I did!

It’s an upholstered full bed frame with wood feet that comes in king, California king, queen and full sizes. The frame is extremely sturdy and stable and the headboard is very thick with a lot of padding under the tufting. It’s also pretty tall for an upholstered headboard, standing at nearly 6 feet. It comes in 2 colors (we chose the grey). With the light in my room, the grey color reads as a mix of light grey with some taupe. It’s not a true light grey (in my opinion) but if someone walked into the room and you asked them the color of the bed, they would definitely say grey.

First of all, the price on this bed CANNOT be beat for the quality. I am always honestly shocked at how low it’s priced, especially when they offer it on sale. It’s a crazy good deal!
